Jewel Weed contains something called saponins, this is what counteracts the chemicals that cause poison Ivy, oak, and sumac rashes. Inorder to tap into the powers of Jewelweed, it must be fused into the oil fresh and harvested while still in bloom. Lots of salves out there use dried plant and the result is a salve that does not work. This salve is made from 2024 summer harvested Jewelweed. It is powerful, tried, and true.
